This play station was a “trap” that allowed me to speak with parents about local tree diseases while there children were engaged in play. A trojan horse project, the toys and table were a distraction that grabbed children’s attention, giving me the opportunity to dialogue with parents about ecological preservation and ethical land management in a public space.
